How to edit and update your event details

Completing your event details before inviting your guests is highlighly recommended. Having said that, we understand that things change over time, especially as you get closer to the event day. This is why we’ve made it super easy for you to keep your event information up to date through our event details module. As soon as you edit the event information, your guests will be able to see the changes in the app.

1. Access event details module

There are two ways to access the event details module 1) click the Edit button in the “Your Event Details” content block, 2) click the “Event Details” button in the planner navigation

2. Event info

Event type and Occassion cannot be edit. If you need to change this you will need to create a new event.
In this section can can change your event image, name, date and start time.
Click next or swipe to access next page or click save to return to leave the page.

3. Location

View the confirmed venue(s) for your event. If you would like to make any changes to the event venue or loction, click the Go to Venues button to be redirected to the Venues module where you can add/remove or change the venue information. Once this information is updated in the venues module it will be automatically reflected in the event details for your guests to see.

4. Agenda

View your approved event agenda here. If you would like to make any changes to the agenda, click the Go to Agenda button to be redirected to the Agenda module where you can add/remove or change the information in the agenda. Once this information is updated in the agenda module it will be automatically reflected in the event details for your guests to see.

5. Gallery

In addition to the cover image, why not add a carousell of images to get your guests excited and ready for your event.

Premium members can also add a YouTube link to display a video promo or trailer to support their event.

6. Message

Add an intro message to welcome your guests to your event. The  text will appear near the top of the event details page.

7. Key People

Asside from having a host  and co-host, many events will have key people attending who you may want to give a quick introduction to ahead of the event. They could be an important speaker, a close friend, family member or colleague etc.

 

Click the “Add key people” button to get started. Here you can add an image, provide the individuals name, let everyone know their relation to you or their role and, lastly, add a short intro description.

8. Event Guide

Some of  your guests might be unfamiliary with your event so a simple  guide to let them know what to expect might be helpful. Whether you’re planning your wedding and want to let your guests know about gifting options or you’re arranging a work do and want to explain the purpose of the event to set expectation, use the event guide to get everyone on the same page and prevent any unwanted surpises. 

9. Closing Message

Using a 125 characters, leave a closing message to thank your guests.
