1. Task Temple
When you first open the task manager module, you’ll be prompted to select a task template based on the type of event you’re planning.
Once you’ve chosen a template, you’ll receive a pre-set task list that you can customise by editing or adding tasks.
Prioritise tasks, set due dates, and assign them to your collaborators as needed. As tasks are completed, check them off to ensure nothing is overlooked.
2. Create a task
Whether you’ve selected a task template or are starting from a blank list, our task manager module allows you to create and manage tasks effortlessly.
To begin, navigate to the task category where you’d like to add a new task and click the “Add Task” button. If the category doesn’t exist, start by clicking the “Add New Task Category” button to create one.
When adding a task, provide the following information and save:
- Category: Select the appropriate category for the task.
- Task Name: Give your task a descriptive name.
- Status: Set the status to “To Do.”
- Priority: Indicate the priority or urgency of the task.
- Assignment: Assign the task to a collaborator if needed.
- Due Date: Specify the due date.
- Description: Provide a detailed description of the task.
3. Manage tasks
As you progress through your tasks, you may need to make changes. To do so, simply click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the task block.
Here, you can edit the following details:
- Category: Use the dropdown menu to move tasks from one category to another.
- Priority: Update the priority level as needed.
- Status: As you work through your list, update the status from “To Do” to “Complete.” If a task is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, you can set the status to “Blocked.”
- Assignee: Reassign the task to another collaborator if necessary.
- Due Date: Adjust the due date as needed.
- Task Name: Modify the task name to better reflect the action required.
- Description: Add more details or clarify existing ones to ensure the task is completed accurately.
